While the IOIs were being developed, they were written in English and they were only being used at the University of Cincinnati. If you want to change parts of the IOIs to fit better at your institution, or if you want to translate the text into another language, there are two applications you can use.
This is an easy-to-use site that lets you customize an IOI. With it you can replace any or all of the videos, images or text. When you are done, you can either download a SCORM file for a Learning Management System (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, etc.) or get a link that you can give your students so they can access your custom IOI on this website. Open IOI Online EditorVignette Studio III was made for developers who want to create IOIs or similar online activities. You can use it to customize IOIs extensively if you have a basic knowledge of HTML. Vignette Studio will create a SCORM file but it will not create a link to give your students the way that the IOI Online Editor will.
